Hell's Kitchen Season 4 aired from April 01 to July 08, 2008.

It aired on Fox Network and there were 15 contestants.

The prize for the winner was a position at London West Hollywood in Los Angeles with a $250,000 salary.

In this season, Gordon Ramsay was judge, Jean-Philippe Susilovic was Maître d', Gloria Félix was sous chef for the red team and Scott Leibfried was sous chef for the blue team.

Ben Caylor Ben Caylor was an electrician and former chef from Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was eliminated in episode 7 due to his poor performances, laid back attitude and refusal to own up to mistakes made in the kitchen.

After Hell's Kitchen, Ben returned to the family electrical business Source Energy Solutions Inc.

He was arrested in July 2019 for an assault on a female.


Bobby Anderson Bobby Anderson was an Executive Chef from Niagara Falls, New York.

He was eliminated in Hell's Kitchen season 4 episode 11 due to his weakening performances.

After Hell's Kitchen, he briefly worked in two of Gordon's restaurants in the UK.

Bobby launched F Bites, a programme designed for teaching inner city youths basic food preparation skills.

It also teaches youngsters how to cook in after school programmes.

Bobby is also Executive Chef at Avant mansion, a wedding and events location in Buffalo, New York.


Christina Machamer Christina Machamer was a student from St. Louis, Missouri.

Christina was the Hell's Kitchen season 4 winner due to her great potential.

After Hell's Kitchen, Christina was offered the position of Senior Sous Chef rather than Executive Chef.

She worked at London West Holywood for 10 months.

After this role she worked at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro.

Christina returned to school, where she trained to be a sommelier and now lives in Napa valley.

She was Director of Wine and Culinary at B Cellars Vineyards & Winery and now manages the Caldwell Vineyard.

Christina is also a personal chef.


Corey Earling Corey Earling was a Personal Chef from Brooklyn, New York.

She was eliminated in episode 13 and was praised for her talents by Gordon.

After Hell's Kitchen, Corey has been a food stylist for a number of large clients.

She briefly had her own soup company, making small batches for small businesses and markets.

Corey is currently a Private Chef offering personal chef, catering and at home cooking services.


Craig Schneider Craig Schneider was a Sous Chef from Coram, New York.

He was eliminated in episode 4 due to his bad attitude and his poor cooking skills displayed on the show.

After Hell's Kitchen, Craig returned to his previous role as Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Hotel of Long Island.

He moved to various airports in the New York area as a Food and Beverage Manager.

Craig is currently Multi Unit Operations Manager at Macarthur Islip Airport.


Dominic DiFrancesco Dominic DiFrancesco was a stay at home dad from Catawba, South Carolina.

He was eliminated in episode 1 because of his lack of culinary skills and creativity.

After Hell's Kitchen, Dominic returned to running the family household.

He later started his own culinary business offering cookery classes and personal chef services.

Dominic is currently Executive Chef at Salem Red Sox Stadium.


Jason Underwood Jason Underwood was a Sous Chef from Youngstown, Ohio.

He was eliminated in episode 3 due to his consistently poor performance and failure to recover from it.

After Hell's Kitchen, Jason returned to the kitchen.

He went to work at Capos Restaurant before hanging up his chefs jacket.

His twitter bio now says he is a former chef.


Jen Gavin Jen Gavin was a Garde Manger from Chicago, Illinois.

She was episode 12 for her lack of team work skills and failure to improve her attitude.

After Hell's Kitchen, Jen worked briefly as Head Chef at The Big Easy in Hyde Park, leaving after an argument with the owner.

She became a chef for a celebrity catering company cooking for celebrities including Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga and One Direction.

Jen later worked as Executive Chef for the Goddess and Grocer stores group.

Jen is currently a private chef, offering boutique catering, private dinner parties and cooking classes.


Louis Petrozza Louis Petrozza was a Catering Director from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Louis was the Hell's Kitchen season 4 runner up and Gordon commended him as a strong finalist.

After Hell's Kitchen, Louis returned to being a chef.

He was Executive Chef at the Acorn Pub & Eatery within Oak Mountain Ski Resort.

Louis sadly died on November 15th 2019 after battling cancer.


Louross Edralin Louross Edralin was a Hotel Cook from Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was eliminated in episode 9 due to his struggle to serve a good steak during the service and he was solely responsible for the teams loss.

After Hell's Kitchen, Louross went on to work at The Ritz-Carlton in Vegas and at Planet Holywood resort.

He later worked at M Resort in Las Vegas and Shokku Ramen/Saffron Vegetarian Eatery.

Louross is Executive Chef at BAE Hospitality.

He is also a dancer.


Matt Sigel Matt Sigel now known as Matt Bloch was a Sous Chef from Pinefield, New Jersey.

He was eliminated in episode 10 as he had a number of poor services and his bad attitude.

After Hell's Kitchen, Matt became executive chef of Pizzicato in New Jersey.

He does cooking demonstrations at local cookery events.


Rosann Fama Rosann Fama was a Receptionist and former cook from Staten Island, New York.

She was eliminated in episode 8 as she was unorganised and made too many simple mistakes including burning the garnish.

After Hell's Kitchen, Rosann returned to her previous career as a receptionist.


Sharon Stewart Sharon Stewart was a Room Service Chef from Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was eliminated in episode 2 due to two previous poor services.

After Hell's Kitchen, Sharon became an Executive Chef for an events catering company.


Shayna Raichilson-Zadok Shayna Raichilson-Zadok was a Catering Company Owner from Buffalo, New York.

She was eliminated in episode 6 as Gordon deemed her too slow in the kitchen but praised her for her big heart.

After Hell's Kitchen, Shayna opened the Steel Crazy Café in May 2008 but it closed in June 2010.

She is also heavily involved in theatre and can often be seen in performances in Buffalo, New York.


Vanessa Gunnell Vanessa Gunnell was a Line Cook from Bozeman, Montana.

In episode 4, Vanessa suffered a serious second degree burn after putting out a pan fire.

She returned for the next episode but was unable to continue due to the pain it caused and decided to leave the show.

After Hell's Kitchen, Vanessa recovered from her hand injury but it scarred.

She returned to the restaurant she had worked at prior to the show before stepping away from the kitchen.

Vanessa was a Detention Segeant at Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and is currently a coroner.
