Hells Kitchen Season 21 Contestants Where Are They Now

Hell's Kitchen Season 21 / Battle of the Ages aired from 29th September 2022 to 9th February 2023.

It aired on Fox Network and there were 18 contestants.

9 of the contestants are 20 somethings and 9 of the contestants are 40 somethings.

The prize for the winner was a Head Chef position at Hell's Kitchen Caesar's Atlantic City and $250,000.

In this season, Gordon Ramsay was judge, Marino Monferrato was MaƮtre d', Christina Wilson was sous chef for the red team and Jay Santos was sous chef for the blue team.

Abe Sanchez Abe Sanchez was an Executive Chef from Crosby, Texas.

He was on the 40 somethings team.

Abe was eliminated in episode 10 after he fell behind during the service.

After Hell's Kitchen, Abe owns healthy meal prep company Kitchen Monster Creations.


Alejandro Najar Alejandro Najar was an Executive Chef from Barberton, Ohio.

He was on the 20 somethings team.

Alejandro was eliminated in episode 15 after his three dishes gained slightly lower points than Alex and Dafne.

After Hell's Kitchen, Alejandro was chef at UnHitched Brewing Co. in Louisville.

He later became Executive Chef at Blue Door Cafe and Bakery.

Alejandro is currently Executive Chef at Butchers Cellar.


Alex Belew Alex Belew was a Former Restaurant Owner from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

He was on the 40 somethings team.

Alex was the Hell's Kitchen Season 21 winner after both of the finalists made the decision very hard for the judges.

After Hell's Kitchen, Alex is owner of AB Hospitality.

Alex accepted the role at Hell's Kitchen Caesar's Atlantic City, where he works part time.

He also appears at a guest chef and at pop up dining events.

Alex is also a podcast host at Cooking, Cocktails & Community.


Alyssa Osinga Alyssa Osinga was a Executive chef from Chicago, Illinois.

She was on the 20 somethings team.

She was eliminated in episode 6 after struggling with the pressure and making collard greens.

After Hell's Kitchen, Alyssa was Executive Chef at Althea Restaurant and PLANTA Restaurant.

She is also a Brand Ambassador for brands including HexClad and Osmo Salt.

Alyssa is currently Chef de Cuisine at Butchers Cellar, alongside Alejandro.


Billy Trudsoe Billy Trudsoe was a Head chef from Melbourne, Florida.

He was on the 40 somethings team.

Billy was eliminated in episode 6 after he repeatedly served raw and undercooked scallops.

After Hell's Kitchen, Billy was a Private/Personal Chef at B.True's Mad Flava.

In 2022, he opened restaurant Basil & Wick's, where he is Executive Chef.

The restaurant has excellent reviews.

Billy opened new restaurant Lizzie Keays in 2024, it also has excellent reviews.


Brett Binninger-Schwartz Brett Binninger-Schwartz was an Executive chef from Dublin, Ohio.

He was on the 20 somethings team.

Brett was eliminated in episode 11 after he struggled during all of the courses and miscounted the plates.

After Hell's Kitchen, Brett is an Executive Chef at Nada Columbus.


Charlene Sherman Charlene Sherman was a Private chef from Worland, Wyoming.

She was on the 40 somethings team.

Charlene was eliminated in episode 2 after Gordon told her she wasn't ready to be a Head Chef.

After Hell's Kitchen, Charlene is a Private Chef.

She is also a host of the Killer Bites podcast.

Charlene has also appered on Chopped and Guys Grocery Games season 16.


Cheyenne Nichols Cheyenne Nichols was a Sous chef from Louisville, Kentucky.

She was on the 20 somethings team.

She was eliminated in episode 13 after serving raw lobster and causing a fire in her station.

After Hell's Kitchen, Cheyenne is a Private Chef/Caterer at Finest Cravings with her partner Emily.

They also offer meal prep services.

She is also a brand ambassador for brands including Osmo Salt and HexClad.

Cheyenne is also a part time sous chef at Medina County Career Center.

She will be assisting with training culinary skills to youths.


Dafne Mejia Dafne Mejia was an Executive chef from Los Angeles, California.

She was on the 20 somethings team.

Dafne was the Hell's Kitchen season 21 runner up after both of the finalists made the decision very hard for them.

After Hell's Kitchen, Dafne is a Private Chef.

She has worked for celebrity clients including Drake.

Dafne also hosts pop up dinners at local restaurants.


Ileana DSilva Ileana D'Silva was a Sous chef from Gloucester, Virginia.

She was on the 20 somethings team.

Ilena was eliminated in episode 8 after her chicken dish failed to impress.

Gordon says that she is not ready to be his head chef.

After Hell's Kitchen, Ilena is a sous chef at Casa Pearl in Williamsburg, Virginia.


Mindy Livengood Mindy Livengood was a Caterer from Liberty Township, Ohio.

She was on the 40 somethings team.

Mindy was eliminated in episode 7 due to her lack of confidence cooking risotto and her team feeling she was a weak link.

After Hell's Kitchen, Mindy is a Personal chef/caterer and offers meal delivery services.

She is also a teacher.


Nicole Gomez Nicole Gomez was a Private chef from Los Angeles, California.

She was on the 40 somethings team.

Nicole was eliminated in Hell's Kitchen season 21 episode 4 after she failed to step up or ask for help.

After Hell's Kitchen, Nicole is a Private Chef.


OShay Lolley O'Shay Lolley was an Executive chef from New Castle, Delaware.

He was on the 40 somethings team.

O'Shay was eliminated in episode 3 after he served both raw and overcooked meat and failed to communicate with the team.

After Hell's Kitchen, O'Shay was owner and Executive Chef at 7 Restaurant in Wilmington, Delaware.

The restaurant appears to have closed in 2020.

O'Shay is now a Private Chef, offering catering services, cooking classes and consultancy work.


Sakari Smithwick Sakari Smithwick was a Pop-up chef from Amityville, New York.

He was on the 20 somethings team.

Sakari was eliminated in episode 12 after he undercooked his lobster dish and served too much sauce on his salmon dish.

After Hell's Kitchen, Sakari is a founder at Noble Promise Studios and creator of Cyber Green Juice.

He owns clothing brand Peace and Parmesan.

Sakari has also done a number of pop up dining events.


Sommer Sellers Sommer Sellers was a Lead line cook from Brooklyn, New York.

She was on the 20 somethings team.

Sommer was eliminated in episode 14 with praise from Gordon that she will go far in the industry.

After Hell's Kitchen, Sommer is a Line Cook at Spring Place.


Tara Ciannella Tara Ciannella was a Private chef/caterer from Congers, New York.

She was on the 40 somethings team.

Tara was eliminated in epiode 12 after her pork chop failed to send her through in a blind taste test.

After Hell's Kitchen, Tara is a Private Chef.

She offers catering services, dinner parties, events and more.


Vlad Briantsev Vlad Briantsev was a Sous chef from Chicago, Illinois.

He was on the 20 somethings team.

Vlad was eliminated in Hell's Kitchen season 21 episode 9 after overcooking and undercooking filet steaks.

After Hell's Kitchen, Vlad is a Travel Chef at Levy Restaurants.

He is also a co-host on the Late Night With Chefs Podcast.


Zeus Gordiany Zeus Gordiany was an Executive chef from Milford, Delaware.

He was on the 40 somethings team.

Zeus volunteered himself for the bottom two in episode 2.

Gordon felt he didn't deserve his place in the competition as he was willing to give it up and asked him to leave.

After Hell's Kitchen, Zeus is Corporate Chef at Benvenuto.

He also hosts cooking classes.
